KPU's Community Impact Awards Selection Panel

Context and Purpose: KPU’s Community Impact Awards 

Intent: To recognize individuals and organizations who are strong partners of KPU and making a difference in regional communities of relevance to KPU.  The KPU Community Impact Awards Selection Panel reviews submissions and decides, annually, on an award finalist.

Composition:

  • Provost and Vice-President, Academic; or designate
  • Vice President, External Affairs; or designate 
  • 2 Faculty members with community expertise
  • 2 Deans or Associate Deans
  • 1 Alumni member
  • Community Member from The President’s Community Advisory Committee (or similar)

Membership Term: With the exception of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic (or designate) and Vice President, External Affairs (or designate), each membership term is two years.  Appointments may be renewed for one two-year term.
