CASTL - Cluster Initiatives 2005 - 2009

 

We see the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning as a means to improve and share good faculty work for student learning in the service of greater things that we care about as educators. It is also a way to use our ability to influence and be influenced by broader currents of transformation. We intend to bring this work into other networks and associations that we are members of.

Within our CASTL Cluster the following projects were undertaken:

  • Queens – Conversations/work on the changing culture cluster
  • Kwantlen – Opening venues for dialogue and the sharing of a range of scholarly artifacts
  • Glasgow – Communities of support
  • SEMO – Outcomes, evaluation and assessment
  • OSU – Teaching support vs. SoTL
  • Ryerson – Facilitate conversation about our own community
