The use of Gen AI tools may be considered academic misconduct if not explicitly permitted by an instructor of a course. However, permitted use of Gen AI can vary from course to course so it is best to check with your instructor on how you should use Gen AI in your work. When using Generative AI tools for your work, coursework or research, it’s important to consider ethical issues such as privacy, bias, copyright, academic integrity, and sustainability. Q. What Gen AI tools are appropriate to use at KPU?
AI technologies have been reviewed for instructional use for details, Visit Teaching and Learning's Approved GAI Technology Platforms for Academic Use at KPU. For business use we recommend using Copilot with your KPU login for security, use of other platforms should be reviewed with your supervisor and used in accordance with KPU business guidance.
