Abstract
Aggressive and antisocial acts by teens strike fear in communities and fuel calls for harsher punishments including incarceration. I will discuss risk profiles and developmental pathways to aggressive and antisocial behaviour. I will argue that society would benefit socially and economically by focusing on prevention and risk reduction using evidence based interventions. Barriers to program implementation and innovative strategies will be discussed.
