KPU students are currently in the Amazon!
A group of students left Vancouver on Friday, May 9th and travelled to Bogota, Columbia. The students are registered in IDEA 3100 and will visit the Amazon rainforest of Colombia and experience first hand the Calanoa project which is working towards a model of sustainable living in the Amazon forest. Students will participate in a multitude of interdisciplinary and cultural experiences and will return on May 23rd.
This is the second year that a group of students have been led to the Amazon by KPU Faculty Ross Laird and Lucie Gagne.
