Policy Review

In support of GV2 Protocol for the Development of University Policies / Procedure (effective September 1, 2022),  all KPU Policies and Procedures will require a formal review at least every four (4) years to ensure they continue to be relevant, accurate and current (Procedure B.12.a). Per Procedure B.12.b., a formal notice will be provided to all Policy Sponsors six (6) months prior to the 4-year review deadline to initiate the policy review process. Per Procedure B.12.g., if changes to a Policy or Procedure are required, the Policy Sponsors (or designated Policy Developers) will have 3 months following the review deadline to initiate the policy/procedure amendment process with the Policy Coordination Team.

In compliance with GV2 Policy Protocol, a schedule of Policy and Procedure reviews and statuses will be updated and posted on the KPU Policy site throughout the academic year.

July 6, 2023 Update

Per GV2, the Policy Coordination Team is to prepare an annual report, normally in June, that summarizes the status of all KPU Policies during the past 12 months. Click here to view the annual report for the academic year 2022-2023.
