KPU Brew Lab Public Beer Sales
The KPU Brew Lab is open to the public every Thursday from 12-1pm (NEW) and Friday from 1-6pm for sales of our award-winning and student-brewed craft beers available in 6-packs, growler fills and kegs. The beer menu changes weekly (see some of the styles listed below), so we recommend you follow us on social media (@KPUBrew) for the latest updates on beer selections, as well as any changes to our opening hours (e.g., stat holidays, special events, closures, etc.).

Belgian Dubbel The KPU Belgian Dubbel has a deep, dark colour with a full, rounded body and layers of rich malt character. Expect nutty and biscuit aroma, complemented by a natural fruity and spicy profile. Smooth, complex, and comforting, it’s a classic take on a beloved Belgian style. | Ale | 5.6% | 24 | Fills only |
Shared Path ISA (Pink Boots Collaboration) A soft, juicy hazy India Session Ale with bright tropical and fruity hop aromas and a smooth, refreshing finish. At 4.5% ABV, it’s full of flavour without heavy bitterness—approachable, balanced, and easy to enjoy again and again. Brewed by KPU Brewing students, instructors, and staff as a Pink Boots Collaboration Collective beer for International Women’s Day on March 8th, it celebrates the shared path we’re all on together as human beings and as a brewing community. | ISA | 4.5% | 8 | Fills only |
Fruitini (Student Signature Series) A bright, juicy Gose brimming with ripe apricot and a touch of sea salt. Light, tangy, and refreshing, it balances fruity sweetness with a crisp finish—capturing the easy warmth of a sunlit orchard in every sip.

Student Signature Series Beers — Feb. 6-Mar. 20, 2026
Each year, second-year students release their capstone project Signature Series beers. These limited-edition beers are released one at a time on Friday sales days and typically sell out quickly. Visit kpu.ca/science/brew/signature-series to find out which beers will be released on which dates.

DID YOU KNOW: KPU Brewing was named BREWERY OF THE YEAR at the 2019 BC Beer Awards and tied second overall in the top brewing schools in North America at the 2024 US Open College Beer Championship where KPU won two gold and one silver medal? We also won bronze at the 2024 and 2022 Canadian Brewing Awards; bronze at the 2024 Canada Beer Cup (CBC), gold at the 2023 CBC, and one gold and two bronze wins at the 2022 CBC; as well as 2nd place at the 2025 BC Beer Awards and 3rd place at the 2024 and 2022 BC Beer Awards!

Tours & Tastings
No tours are scheduled at this time. Please check our Information Session page or click here to join our mailing list for updates on upcoming KPU Brew Lab brewery tours and events.
When available, pre-booked brewery tours with tastings are $20 per person (min. 4 guests). Visit KPU's custom-built teaching brewery where Brewing Diploma students learn to brew on a state-of-the-art NSI Newlands pilot brewing system.
