Neighbourhood Brewing is adding to our team! We are an Energetic and Fun loving group with a passion for Craft Beer and are currently looking for a Full Time Production Specialist to join the team!!
The Production Brewer Specialist is an enthusiastic, process-driven individual who plays a vital role in ensuring consistent and efficient beverage production operations. They take pride in creating high-quality beverages while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and consistency. As an integral part of the production operations team, they ensure the production area functions at peak performance and meets all targets. This role requires a proactive mindset—constantly seeking ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste. The Production Specialist should be comfortable troubleshooting equipment issues and communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain smooth operations. As part of the team, they are driven, communicate purposefully, support colleagues, and embrace a competitive and fun culture to achieve excellence.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 1: Beverage Production & Product Quality
Executes brewing and production activities accurately and consistently to ensure all beverages meet recipe, quality, and brand standards.
SUPPORTING TASKS:
- Follow approved recipes, SOPs, and production schedules.
- Complete milling, brewing, graining out, and pilot brews as required.
- Perform yeast counts to ensure viability and quality.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 2: Cellaring & Packaging Operations
Responsible for accurate, efficient, and safe execution of cellaring and packaging activities to support production flow and product readiness.
SUPPORTING TASKS:
- Perform daily cellar checks to monitor tank and fermentation status.
- Maintain accurate fermentation logs and tank trackers.
- Package products into cans, kegs, and bottles as scheduled.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY 3: Safety, Equipment Care & Work Environment
Maintains a safe, compliant, and organized production environment while supporting team efficiency and Neighbourhood culture.
SUPPORTING TASKS:
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on production and packaging equipment.
- Complete daily, weekly, and scheduled cleaning programs. Communicate equipment issues, risks, or deviations promptly to leadership.
- Follow all safety protocols, SOPs, and best practices at all times.
ABOUT YOU:
- Brewing training or equivalent education.
- Brewery experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift kegs, grain and heavy objects multiple times daily.
- Serving it Right.
Pay Range: 50000-56000 annual salary
