Job Description
Lillooet Brewing is seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Brewer/Cellar-Person who is keen to learn any and all brewery tasks. As a vital part of our small, tightly knit team, the ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values meticulous quality, and is ready to wear many hats across our production and taproom operations.
Primary Core Responsibilities:
Brewhouse Operations: Assist with and execute daily brewing processes according to established recipes and quality standards.
Cellaring & Quality Control: Monitor fermentations, manage yeast, perform cellaring tasks, and maintain strict sanitation protocols throughout the facility.
Packaging: Operate and maintain packaging lines (kegging, and canning) to ensure product freshness and presentation.
Deliveries: Safely transport and deliver our product to local accounts and partners, acting as a professional face of the brewery.
Secondary & Cross-Functional Responsibilities:
Tasting Room Support: Assist front-of-house operations during peak times, providing excellent customer service and sharing your passion for our beer with guests.
Property Maintenance: Help keep the facility, equipment, and grounds clean, safe, organized, and functioning smoothly.
Team Collaboration: Bring a flexible, positive attitude to any other miscellaneous tasks required to help our small team succeed.
Experience and Skills:
Any and all experience within the brewing industry is highly appreciated, but it is not a strict requirement.
A Passion for Learning: Most importantly, you have a strong desire to learn, grow, and immerse yourself in the craft brewing process.
Meticulous Attention to Detail: You have the ability to precisely and consistently apply your skills to maintain our high standards and ensure quality outcomes in everything you do.
Pay Range: $20-25 based on experience
