Job Description
Breton Brewing Co. is a growing business seeking an enthusiastic, quality focused, and detail-oriented Full-Time Production Brewer who wants to join an amazing team! The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who wants to work in an attractive but high paced work environment. The Full-Time Production Brewer is a key component of the production of Breton Brewing. The position is responsible for ensuring that all beer leaving the facility is of the highest quality and that the brewery is kept clean, functional, and always fulfills all Breton Brewing Co. standards. This is a permanent and full time position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Following Breton Brewing Co. recipes from start to finish Lab testing on fermentation samples
- Cellaring (dry hopping, tank management, yeast harvesting)
- Cleaning fermentation vessels, brewing equipment,
- Brewery Beer transfers
- Centrifuging Inventory management using Ekos
- Following all relevant SOPs to ensure high product quality and efficiency
Experience and Skills:
- Any relevant brewing background
- Experience with machinery and troubleshooting problems
- Product knowledge is an asset
- Forklift experience is an asset (Training will be provided)
- Must be able to lift kegs (30lbs – 150lbs)
- Must be dependable, reliable and punctual
- Must have a positive, strong work ethic and be able to work alone and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and pays close attention to detail
- Team oriented
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work in a clean, sterile, and efficient manner
- Experience with inventory management
- Ability to multitask
- Time management skills
Pay Range: $22/hr
