'Out-of-town' testing is done remotely through our Virtual Test centre. Note that remote testing is only available to students living more than 100kms from a KPU campus. Your address will be verified.
Choose the Admissions test you require: English Placement Test (EPT), Math Placement Test (MPT) or Vocational Trades Testing, then select the remote/virtual campus option from the list of campus choices.
Please note that English Upgrading Assessments are offered online. Dates and times of English Upgrading Online Assessments are available on the Testing Schedule page.
Instructions for Virtual/Remote Admissions tests
This video gives a detailed walk through of our Virtual/Remote online Admissions testing and was produced during Covid. While the details of the remote testing process are accurate, note that KPU classes have returned to campus, with the exception of some hybrid courses.
Admissions testing is done on a computer and proctored by KPU Test Administrators, both on-campus and remote. You will need a computer, webcam, microphone, and have set up your KPU secure log in with your KPU student email.
