How to Post a Co-op Job

Information Checklist

For any option, be sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

Job Description

  • Detailed list of all tasks and responsibilities

Posting Information

  • Date you would like to receive applications
  • Contact person

Position Details

  • Approximate start date
  • Work term duration 4,8 or 12 months
  • Full-time or part-time
  • Physical address of work site

Documents Requested

  • Cover letter
  • Resume
  • Other

Posting the Co-op Job

Below are channels available to you for posting job(s) in the upcoming semester, or future semester, with the co-op education department.

Returning Employer

  1. Post directly to Career Connection (refer to Information Checklist)
  2. Email the co-op job description to co-op@kpu.ca (refer to Information Checklist)

Reposting the same position for a different semester?

  • Email co-op@kpu.ca
  • Include:
    • your employer name
    • job title of past position
    • semester when the position was posted
    • any changes/modifications
  • If the job description is the same, we will find it and post it for you. If there are any changes, feel free to send us an updated version.

New Employer

  1. Email the job description to nadine.wolitski@kpu.ca
    • Refer to Information Checklist
