Summer Bursary

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN: APRIL 20 - MAY 20, 2021

Students who are eligible for a bursary will be notified by email by July 12, 2021, followed by a cheque in the mail. Please ensure your mailing address is kept up-to-date. Non-recipients will also be notified by email. Email correspondence will be sent to your KPU student email account only.

KPU, together with donors, has established a bursary for full-time undergraduate students demonstrating high financial need. Bursary amounts are determined by student financial need, the number of eligible applicants, program of study, and other factors.

You will only be considered for the KPU Summer Bursary if you can demonstrate high financial need and meet specific eligibility requirements.  For this reason, the Budget Worksheet and Assets portion of the online application must be submitted with your application.

Eligible students must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 undergraduate credits (courses numbered 1100 or higher) with a minimum cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 2.0 or higher (for returning students), or, a minimum of 6 credits for students with a permanent disability (PD) as verified by StudentAid BC.

Students attending Trades programs are generally considered to be attending on a full-time basis.

International students are not eligible for bursaries or awards that specify financial need as a criteria.
