We Are KPU

Alvaro Romero - Alumni

Colombian native Alvaro Romero, a distinguished alumnus from the inaugural 2021 graduating class, currently serves as a Lab Instructor Teaching Assistant (TA) at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. In this role, he collaborates with industry professionals, enriching his experience as a TA by guiding students in problem-solving and offering valuable support to educators.

Murat Journee - Faculty

Murat Miroglu embarked on a journey from his homeland to Canada with one goal in mind: to delve deeper into the world of 3D artistry and broaden his creative perspective. A proud alumnus of KPU's Advanced 3D Animation and 3D Modelling Program. Murat crafted a unique strategy that not only kept him proactive and optimistic throughout 2023 but also allowed him to give generously of his time and expertise to the student body and the wider school community.

Andrew McCartney - Faculty

Andrew McCartney, a seasoned animator and instructor at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, talks about his work on major Hollywood productions - television series and how he got an opportunity to work on his first major film project, Spider-Man Homecoming, starring Tom Holland.
