Metro Vancouver…..The KPU Eagles are proud to announce their Sheraton Vancouver Guildford 'Athletes of the Week' as Jessica Anderegg, Surrey, BC women’s soccer, and Thomas Rose, Surrey, BC men’s golf, for the week ending on Sunday, September 7.

WSOC 4 Jessica Anderegg 14/15
Anderegg is in her third year as a defender for the women’s soccer program. The veteran Eagle has been a strong and consistent force for the backline, making excellent plays and demonstrating solid leadership for the rest of the team. Her efforts helped to maintain order during two difficult KPU losses to both Douglas and Langara Colleges over the weekend.

“Jessica is a great asset to our program in the pre-season,” noted KPU Eagles Head Coach Julie King, “She is a very talented player, a very hard worker and I am happy with the impact she is making in the regular season."

Golf Thomas Rose 14/15
Rose is in his fifth year with the Eagles golf team. Rose led his team this past weekend as KPU hosted the opening PACWEST CCAA tournament for the season. He shot 75 on day one and 71 on day two, for a combined two-day total of 146 which tied him for ninth-place with golfers from UBCO and VIU.

“Thomas is a great leader”, stated KPU Eagles Assistant Coach John Shin, “He is a talented golfer who continues to get better with every tournament."
