Mandarin 1101 student Alex Tam won a Third Prize (certificate and cash) in the Non-heritage Category at the 2018 BC "Chinese Bridge" Mandarin Speech Contest for University Students held on March 17, 2018. There were 36 contestants in this category from the universities and colleges all over the BC, and Alex represented KPU extremely well. On behalf of the Department of Language and Cultures, congratulations, Alex!
