KPU Surrey
Hours of Operation:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 5:30pm. Changerooms close at 5:45pm.
- Weekends & Holidays: Closed
The KPU Surrey Fitness Centre is located on the Surrey campus in the Cedar Building, Room 1290.
Fitness Centre Features:
- Benches and Free Weights (up to 100lbs)
- Squat Rack
- Cardio Equipment
- Cable Machine (height adjustable) and Attachments
- Locker rooms with accessible showers, washrooms, and coin-operated lockers (Cedar 1282 & 1284)
Sport and Recreation staff are available to support equipment adjustment, free one-on-one orientations to the space are offered by appointment, and personal training packages for a fee are available for a prepared training program (resuming Fall 2026).
KPU Surrey Gymnasium
Hours of Operation:

The KPU Surrey Gymnasium is located on the Surrey Campus in the Cedar Building, Room 1230.
Gymnasium Features:
- 7,000 square foot gymnasium (Full size basketball court, 4 badminton courts and two volleyball courts)
- Basketball hoop is adjustable to 8-12ft on request
- Drop-in sporting equipment is available to borrow in a variety of sizes including basketballs, badminton rackets, and table tennis paddles.
- 214 seating capacity (pull-out bleachers)
- Locker rooms with accessible showers, washrooms, and coin-operated lockers (Cedar 1282 & 1284)
KPU Tech - Cloverdale
Hours of Operation:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 9:45pm
- Saturday: 8:00am to 3:45pm
- Sunday & Holidays: Closed
The Fitness Centre is located in the main building Room 1410, directly across from the library.
Fitness Centre Features:
- Benches and Free Weights (up to 75lbs)
- Cable machine (height adjustable)
- Squat Rack
- Cardio Equipment such as treadmill and upright bike
The nearest accessible showers can be located in the North Wing (Room 1412 & 1414)

KPU Langley
Hours of Operation:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 9:45pm
- Saturday: 8:00am to 3:45pm
- Sunday & Holidays: Closed
The Fitness Centre is located in the East building in Room 2565 on the second floor.
Fitness Centre Features:
- Benches and Free Weights (up to 50lbs)
- Cable Machine (height adjustable) and Attachments
- Cardio Equipment such as treadmills, stationary bike, and rower
- Additional Exercise Equipment (including mats, resistance bands, medicine balls, and more)
KPU Richmond (Lotus Studio)
The Lotus Studio is located in Room 1320.

Summer 2026: Upcoming Workshop
Tai Chi for All on Wednesday, June 17 from 12:05pm - 12:55pm in WSOD 4900. Registration opens on Monday, June 1 both online at the following link and in-person at the KPU Surrey Sport and Recreation Front Desk (Cedar 1288).The nearest accessible showers can be located in the Wilson School of Design (Room 0921 & 0922). Note: you must use KPU ID to access.
Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct & Facility Regulations
- All KPU students are subject to the KPU Student Conduct policy while using KPU Facilities.
- Valid KPU ID's are required to use all KPU Facilities.
- All visitors must check in at the Sport & Recreation Desk (for locations other than Surrey please sign in using the binder).
- Proper non-marking indoor running shoes (or sport shoes) must be worn in all facilities.
- ALL patrons must have appropriate clothing (no jeans or dress pants).
- Offensive language, disorderly conduct, and/or abuse of staff or visitors will not be tolerated and will result in removal from the facility.
- Abuse of equipment is prohibited.
- Disorderly conduct or unsporting behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Users are responsible for all costs associated with any damages resulting from disorderly conduct and/or misuse of equipment.
