Who are our students?
Students in ACP courses have different backgrounds, ages and abilities. Some just graduated from high school while others still need to meet graduation requirements, and some are returning to school after years in the workforce: this diversity creates wonderful learning opportunities for our students.
Each student has a goal: upgrading math skills to enter a trades program, honing writing skills to pursue a university degree, acquiring science skills to meet nursing program requirements, improving English and math skills to make work tasks easier. Whatever your end goal, ACP has a pathway to get you there!
Program Admission Requirements
The ACP program is open to high school graduates and to non-graduates nineteen years of age or older. Also, with special permission, students of high school age may attend. For more details, see the 'Admissions Categories' section in the University Calendar.
Through KPU's Pathway, students complete their upgrading to meet KPU's English proficiency requirement while also working toward their intended undergraduate program in the Faculty of their choice. Click here to read more...
