What are drop-ins?
Central Advising offers online and in-person drop-in sessions for domestic students during peak periods. These 15-minute sessions are designed for timely questions about the current or upcoming registration period.
Who are they for?
- Domestic students new to KPU or with fewer than 60 credits.
- If you don’t fit this criteria, click here to find the right advising team.
- International students should visit International Drop-in Advising.
Preparing for your drop-in appointment:
- Plan for a 15-minute session. Bring 1–2 specific questions.
- Review your My Action Plan (MAP).
- Check the KPU Calendar for program-specific details, including program requirements, course descriptions and prerequisites.
- Make sure you know how to register.
- Have any relevant documents ready, such as test results or transfer credit evaluations.
