Japan Field School 2013

Learn Japanese culture and be inspired by the beauty and splendour of ancient and modern Japan as you visit historical sites and major tourist attractions while earning credit towards your degree. Meet local people and Japanese students from Kwantlen's partner institutions in Nagoya, Kyoto, and Tokyo, and exchange insights about contemporary Canadian and Japanese cultures.

Visit places that are significant socially, culturally, and historically; and meet Japanese students to explore each city together.

Cost:
The program fee is $2500 and includes accommodation, field trips and inter-city travel. The fee does not include your flight, tuition, meals, city transportation and personal expenses.

Classes Offered:
CUST 3350 Contemporary Japanese Society and Culture: Field School (6 credits)

Pre-requisites:
30 credits of 1100-level courses or higher, including JAPN/CUST 1200, or permission by instructor.
