A hands-on experience on global community service in agroecology with Brazil's Web of the Peoples. The goal of this field school is to provide students with the opportunity to do community service internationally. You will have the opportunity to do community service with Teia dos Povos (Web of the Peoples), a network of Indigenous, Black, landless and working-class organisations. Attention barriers can interfere with learning at every stage. In fact, classic studies have shown that immediately after listening, students are likely to recall only half of what was said. This is partly due to particular listening challenges such as divided attention and distractions, the tendency to shut out the message, the inclination to rush to judgment, difficulties processing auditory information or individual learning differences.
