Complaints

KPU has a tradition of service to students. However, problems may sometimes occur in a community as diverse as KPU. KPU recognizes that students may wish to complain about employees, instructors, services, other students, or policies. KPU Policy AD2 outlines the procedures that have been established to deal with these matters. These procedures have been developed to protect the rights of all concerned.

If you have a complaint with a KPU employee you would first try to resolve the issue informally, directly with the person you have a complaint with.  Should you still wish to file a complaint you would put your complaint in writing and give to the Administrator/Supervisor responsible for the person / department you wish to complain about.  For example if you want to complain about an instructor, you would put your complaint in to the Dean’s office responsible for that course; if you want to complain about an employee in a specific department, you would put your complaint in to the Manager of that department.
