"I'm really happy about my decision to come to Kwantlen because I really felt at home; I wasn't overwhelmed and I also had a lot of support from professors. Kwantlen provided me a solid foundation in my first two years, and I was then able to transfer to SFU where I wanted to do more education courses and enter into their teaching program."
Fatema was awarded the President's outstanding graduate award in 2007.
Currently, Fatema is studying at SFU in the Professional Development Program, reaching her goal of serving her community as an elementary school teacher.
