What Is Volunteering?

Volunteering is the act of giving your time, skills, and energy to support events, initiatives, or organizations without financial compensation. It is a meaningful way to contribute to your campus and community while gaining valuable personal and professional experience.

Benefits of Volunteering

Volunteering helps you develop transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and time management. Volunteering also helps you explore career interests, expand your professional network, and connect with other university students. By giving back, volunteers gain a strong sense of purpose while strengthening their résumé.
Reference letters are available upon request after participation in any volunteering event.
