- Students will need to complete 51 credits in ENGL.
- Students should complete ENGL 2250, as well as six other 2000-level ENGL credits.
- Students must complete at least one course from each of three 3000-level groups:

Students must complete six credits of ENGL at the 4000-level or three ENGL 4000-level credits & ARTS 4800
Students must take an additional 21 credits of ENGL at the 3000- or 4000-levels.

Subject to ministry approval, changes will appear in the Fall 2025 University Calendar starting in June. Students who began a BA Major in ENGL have the option to complete their degree using the old or the new requirements. All students beginning the program after Fall 2025 must complete their degree using the new requirements.
