Note: The guaranteed ticket reserve period for the February 2026 convocation ceremonies has ended. A limited number of additional tickets will be available to graduates on a first-come, first-served basis. Details were sent to student email accounts on February 2, 2026. If your graduate has secured tickets, they must be shared with you in advance. Tickets are required for entry, and graduates will not enter the venue with their guests. Please see Step 7: Reserving Convocation Guest Tickets
Directions & Parking
Convocation will be held at KPU’s Surrey campus, located at 12666 72 Avenue. The ceremonies will take place in the Cedar Building (Room 1230), and guests are asked to proceed there upon arrival.
On-campus parking is free during the week of convocation ceremonies. As space is limited, carpooling is recommended. If you are unable to find parking onsite, free parking has been arranged at Newton Athletic Park, located at 7395 128 Street.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, family, guests, and graduates will gather in the Convocation Hall, located in Maple Atrium, for a short reception.

Tickets & Seating Policy
- Each graduate is eligible for two (2) guest tickets for their convocation ceremony, if reserved by the deadline. The deadline to reserve tickets is approximately three weeks prior to the convocation ceremonies. Graduates must be sure to reserve their guest tickets before the stated deadline.
- Graduates that do not reserve their guest tickets by the stated deadline are not guaranteed guest tickets.
- Additional tickets may be announced on a first-come, first-served basis. Graduates will be contacted by email if additional tickets are available.
- Only guests with a ticket will be granted admittance to the Auditorium. All attendees, including children requiring a seat, must have a ticket. Guests without tickets are encouraged to watch the live stream in the overflow room.
- Seating location is first-come, first-served and will be available 90 minutes before the ceremony. Guests should arrive early to secure their seats.
- Guests must be seated at least 15 minutes before the ceremony starts; otherwise, their ticket(s) will become invalid, and they will be directed to the overflow room.
- Food and drinks are not permitted in the auditorium.
Reception
We invite all graduates and their guests to enjoy refreshments immediately following the ceremony in the Convocation Hall, located in the atrium of the Surrey Maple building. All guests, including those without guest tickets, are welcome to attend the reception.
