The KPU AppsAnywhere Portal, AppsAnywhere.kpu.ca, is available for both Windows-based and Mac-based computers. Once the student logs into the portal, the portal will determine if the computer is Windows-based or Mac-based and launch software accordingly.
For a Windows-based computer, the portal will launch the application using the AppsAnywhere Client. In this case, the applications will be running on the user’s computer.
For a Mac-based computer, the portal will launch the application using the Parallels infrastructure. In this case, the applications will be running on the cloud infrastructure.
The AppsAnywhere installation guide pertains only for Windows users, there is no installation required for Mac's as the app runs in the cloud.
Citrix Workspace is used only for specific software in the Design, CAD and Horticulture Programs.
