About Us
At KPU, the Academic Integrity Unit is housed in the Office of the Provost, but each Faculty also plays an important role.
- The role of the Academic Integrity Unit includes developing resources to support students and faculty around academic integrity, advising and offering consultations on misconduct cases, and providing leadership on the academic integrity strategy at KPU.
- Each Faculty's Dean's Office manages academic misconduct cases and administers KPU's Student Academic Integrity Policy and Procedure (ST2).

Academic Integrity
Student AmbassadorAbout
I returned to KPU after 10 years to complete my BA, with plans to pursue a Master's in Counselling Psychology, specializing in Art Therapy. I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals, building meaningful relationships, and approaching obstacles with creativity and curiosity.
What interests you about your role?
I am interested in helping my peers navigate their university experience while upholding academic integrity. I believe that the fundamentals of academic integrity are essential not only in post-secondary education but also in our personal and professional lives.

Academic Integrity
Student AmbassadorAbout
I fell in love with Human Capital Management when I was taking my Executive Master’s in Business Administration (EMBA) back in my home country. This is why, I do my best to make sure every student feels welcome and supported now that I am studying as an international student taking Post-Baccalaureate Human Resources Management program. I understand what it’s like to face new challenges in a new country, and I use these experiences to help others. I care about honesty, trust, and respect, and I work to share these values with my peers. I enjoy running workshops, events, and Leadership Learning and Development (L & LD), making it easier for students to feel confident in their studies.
What interests you about your role?
What inspires me most about this role is helping people believe in themselves and their hard work. I want students, especially those far from home, to know they belong here. Giving back to the community is something I truly value, and that’s why this role is so meaningful to me! I find inspiration everyday in supporting others and making our campus a kinder, fairer place for everyone. I believe our KPU community grows stronger when we are kind, fair, and honest with each other and in our work or studies.

Academic Integrity
LiaisonAbout
I am an experienced professional in the Higher Education sector, with a strong background in student services. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of roles, including academic advising, admissions, and career advising. I joined KPU in 2022, initially serving in a student advising role. As the Academic Integrity Liaison, I support students, faculty, and the Dean’s office throughout the academic integrity breach process. My goal is to foster collaboration within the KPU community, promoting an educational approach to addressing issues related to academic integrity.
What interests you about your role?
Having transitioned from a student advising role, I have a deep understanding of the challenges students face, particularly when dealing with academic integrity issues. I am passionate about listening to students' perspectives, helping them learn about academic integrity, and collaborating with faculty and the Dean’s office to prevent breaches. What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to advocate for a positive, educative academic integrity culture at KPU. I am committed to supporting students through their challenges and contributing to initiatives and programs that promote academic integrity across the university.Susan Xia
