Improve your education with adult learning
The PKLC is an adult learning centre at the Phoenix Centre and a key service for participants rebuilding their lives.
Have you ever wanted to:
- Improve your reading, writing or critical thinking?
- Upgrade your English or Math skills to get ready for a test or training?
- Earn the BC Adult Graduation Diploma?
- Develop necessary skills for a promotion or further education?
The Phoenix-Kwantlen Learning Centre empowers adult learners to re-enter the educational arena and the labour market through individualized assessment and action planning that include lifelong learning goals. The centre provides community-based instruction in English and math from basic literacy level through Grade 11. It also helps adult learners move on to Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s campus or to other formal educational settings.

Financing

Information & Enrolment
Classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 am–12:30 pm & 1:00 pm–4:00 pm
The program is offered on-site at the Phoenix Centre, which is located only five minutes from King George Skytrain station and one minute from Surrey Memorial Hospital.
