Open Doors, Open Minds: Welcoming Indigenous Students to KPU

KPU is complying with the recommendation from B.C.’s Provincial Health Officer not to host or take part in events where attendance is expected to exceed 50 people.  Unfortunately, this means we cannot hold this year’s Open Door, Open Minds event at this time.

KPU Indigenous Services for Students' annual "open house" welcomes over 200 grade 8-12 Indigenous students from regional school districts to experience campus life at KPU.

Indigenous high school students will meet current KPU students, faculty and staff, engage with interactive classroom activities, learn about KPU's programs and hear from keynote speakers. The event will be held on campus, an opportunity for students to experience a university campus setting and begin to envision a plan for their own transition to post secondary studies.
