Open Doors, Open Minds: Welcoming Indigenous Students to KPU
KPU Indigenous Services for Students' annual "open house" welcomes over 200 grade 8-12 Indigenous students from regional school districts to experience campus life at KPU.
Prospective Indigenous students develop an understanding of the accessibility and range options available KPU. In addition, attendees will have a chance to meet current KPU students, faculty and staff, and engage with interactive classroom activities and keynote speakers. In experiencing a university campus setting, students can start to consider how they might begin to establish a plan for their own transition to post-secondary studies.
