Online Orientation
KPU Online Orientation is a self-paced Moodle course designed for new students. Any new student can self-enroll and explore the course at their own pace, on their own time. The course is accessible all throughout your first-year so that you can refer to the information whenever you might need it.
Online Orientation is packed with information that we know new students are looking for, and provides helpful tips and strategies to help you thrive. Examples of the type of information you can find in the course is:
- How to navigate through Moodle, KPU’s online learning platform
- Important dates and deadlines and where to access support
- How to get to campus and information on parking and public transit
- Detailed information on campus services and where to access them
- Opportunities to get involved on campus and upcoming events
- What you need to feel prepared for your first week of classes and decoding university terms (what is a credit?, how to read your timetable, etc.)
Online Orientation Course
Mandatory for all new incoming international students
Online Orientation is expected to launch in June.
