New Student Checklists:

Starting at KPU isn't quite as easy as just showing up in September. You need to complete a number of tasks before arriving and throughout the first few weeks to jumpstart your success. We've put together these tasks into downloadable checklists for your convenience.

First Year Festival

Coming up from May 3rd to May 14th, First Year Festival is a series of Orientation sessions that go beyond the basics of Orientation through drop-in programming hosted by campus experts and clubs. You'll have chances to meet directly with your Faculty, make friends, participate in activities and ask questions! Full schedule will be released in April.

Orientation is…

Your opportunity to:

  • Discover KPU
  • Learn about services and resources
  • Meet fellow students and classmates
  • Receive guidance from senior students
  • Learn about the university experience at KPU

Orientation is highly encouraged for all new students, and is mandatory for International & Exchange Students. Pre-registration is required.

Trades students are encouraged to attend Orientation at a campus convenient to them.
