Erick Medina

Instructor, Chair Millwright Department

My name is Erick Medina and I have been in the Millwright trade for over 25 years.  My experience has included many different facets of industry.  I’m extremely passionate about being a Millwright Instructor, as that allows me to share my experience and knowledge with my students.

Here is some of my background experience:

  • Fabrication of conveyor systems for the food industry, specifically for glass bottle rinsing, cooling and also for transporting different packed materials.
  • Build and assemble packaging machines, including case and tray formers, taping and sealing machines for corrugated products.  The machines are part of a line production for conveying products.
  • Production manager in a blow molding factory that produced millions of resin coat hangers for a well-known store chain around the world.

Becoming a Millwright is one of the best achievements in my life!!
