Student Opportunities

Practicum Course

Through the ARTS 4800 Practicum course our students apply the academic knowledge and analytical skills learned in the classroom in a workplace environment. For more information, please take a moment to watch our practicum informational video.

Student Assistants

Each term the Anthropology Department hires student assistants in the fields of social-cultural Anthropology and/or biological-forensic-archaeological Anthropology. The assistants help instructors by operating open labs, doing research for individual instructors, or other tasks such as digitizing images. If you are interested, please submit your resume to the Chair of Anthropology, Ken Stark.

Student Volunteers

The Department of Anthropology organizes student-centered and community events during the year. Student volunteers are integral parts of the organization of these events. Visit our events page for upcoming events.
