KPU International Study Abroad Scholarship:
The KPU International Study Abroad Scholarship is a competitive internal award designed to support students participating in Field School or Summer School programs abroad. It aims to recognize academic achievement and help make international learning experiences more accessible through financial support.
Amount: Up to $3000 (per recipient)
Eligibility:
Accepted to a Field School or Summer Schools program
Full time student in good standing
GPA competitive
Demonstrated Financial Need (verified by SAFA as Low-Income)
Domestic and international students
Application Requirements:
To apply for the KPU International Study Abroad Scholarship, students must submit the following:
An unofficial transcript
A short one-paragraph essay (on the application form)
One reference (Faculty Reference Form or Community Involvement (Volunteer Experience)/Work Experience Reference Form)
Requirements:
Must complete all related Surveys and/or Post-Experience Forms
Participate in one (1) story sharing:
Written format, OR
Meet our Alumni Series with Study Abroad Office, OR
Video Interview project
By applying for this scholarship, students are also agreeing to participate in a study abroad experience sharing activity, and agree to the terms stated on KPU’s photo, video, and digital medial release form. Students accept that KPU International will use the content to promote its study abroad programs and its scholarships, and consent to the publishing of their name and materials in support of KPU International promotional efforts.
