Please note that the Biology Department does not normally grant waivers to students who do not have the required course prerequisite standards. |
Biology Lab Periods: At Surrey and Richmond , each student taking BIOL 1110, 1210, 2320, 2321 or 2322 is expected to spend an average of 5 to 7 hours in the Biology lab each week in addition to the seminar, including the first week of classes. Lab time is not necessarily consecutive, but must fall within the lab hours posted on the lab door. It is imperative that students registering in the first week of classes for a Biology course contact the instructor of the course without delay. Students must report to the Biology lab as early as possible during the week beginning Monday, January 9th, attend the first week's class and complete the first week's course work by Friday, January 13th .
Students taking BIOL 1210 at Langley will have two classes per week and must register for a scheduled three-hour lab section.
