Each campus Library has short term loan laptops that can be borrowed for 1 day. Ask to borrow one at the Library Service Counter. The laptops are loaned on a first come, first served basis. Due to our limited number of short term loan laptops, there is no guarantee of availability.
How to return a laptop
Laptops must be returned to a staff person at any campus Library Service Counter during our hours of operation. Do not return laptops or equipment in our book drops or external return bins.
When you return your laptop, we will perform a preliminary check on the laptop before you leave. A more detailed check will be conducted by one of our AV Technicians later on, and we will contact you if there are any issues!

What can I do if I don’t get a laptop?
There are computers available in the library and in the labs. For locations and hours please check https://www.kpu.ca/library/hours.
Can I renew my laptop?
Unfortunately no! You have to return the laptop by the due date during our hours of operation.
Can I install my own software on the laptop?
You cannot install your own software on the laptop image.
