Students must be at least 19 years of age at the start of the field school. Registration in ARTS 3100 requires payment of two separate fees: A fee for the six-credit ARTS 3100 course, and a fee for the Cuba Field School ($3450 for 2018). A $500 non-refundable deposit for the course's field-school component is due to KPU International by January 31. The remaining fees for the field school are due by March 30, and become non-refundable after that date. Students who withdraw from ARTS 3100 after March 30 will not be refunded registration fees for the Cuba Field School. Should a decision be made by KPU to cancel a field school due to low enrolment or other academic/risk issues, participants will be entitled to a full rebate of any payments made, including the deposit.
