Reading Texts and Taking Notes

This workshop will help you learn from your textbooks and university lectures by introducing a variety of effective pre-lecture reading strategies along with in class note-taking and post-class techniques. The session will include organizing your reading strategy to make sense of all this new information so that you can be successful in your courses. You will learn how to listen for key points and summarize main ideas, preparing more meaningful and effective study notes.

Workshop Location and Date
We ask that you come prepared to actively engage with the workshop activities. Participation is required for attendance.
