University Essays: First Steps

Are you ready to write your first university essays?  This workshop will introduce the requirements and expectations for university-level writing as well as effective strategies and resources to help the writing process. Learn how to craft a thesis statement, structure an argument, and begin to write clearly and concisely.

Workshop Location and Date
We ask that you come prepared to actively engage with the workshop activities. Participation is required for attendance.
If you are attending this workshop for the "Stay the Course" program, you acknowledge and agree that your attendance information may be shared with the Stay the Course team.
Some KPU instructors offer bonus credit for participating in Learning Centre workshops. If your instructor has confirmed this, you can provide their name, course and section number here.
