Everything you need to prepare for a smooth transition to Canada and KPU

Pre-Arrival Guide for International Students

Are you a new KPU student arriving in Canada for the first time?

If so, you likely have a lot of questions about your big move to Canada such as "What do I need to bring? What is the culture like? Do I have a medical insurance? How do I find housing/a bank/ a cellphone plan?" KPU International is happy to share with you our Pre-Arrival Video Series, where we talk about all the things you need to know before and after you arrive to Canada.

We also run a live session every semester for new students, where you can ask us any questions you may have. Join our 45-minute Q&A session on October 23, 2025, at 9:00 AM PDT, where we will address many common student questions. If you miss the session, no problem!
