When to Meet Us?
- You may meet with an International Student Advisor for your academic-related questions if you are in a Certificate, Diploma, Pathway program, or Associate Degree, or if you are in a Bachelor’s program but have completed less than 45 credits.
- If you are in a Bachelor’s program and have completed more than 45 credits, or you are in a Post-Baccalaureate or Graduate Diploma program, please see a Degree Advisor.
All international students should meet with an International Student Advisor for all their immigration-related queries.

How to Connect with us?
Students may connect with an International Student Advisor via a 30-minute appointment or 10-15 minutes drop-in session. The International Advising Team offers both in-person and virtual appointments and drop-ins.
Appointment
International Student Advisors offer in-person and online appointments of up to 30 minutes long. Students who wish to discuss something in detail or who have several questions are recommended to book an appointment.
Can’t Make it to Your Appointment?
If you cannot attend your appointment for any reason, please cancel your appointment as soon as possible so that another student may book the timeslot. If you are feeling unwell, please do not come to the office. Inform the advisor as soon as possible, and they will arrange a virtual appointment for you instead.
How to Connect?
Book via Advisor Connect.
In-person Appointments: arrive at the specific campus at the scheduled time.
Online Appointment: join the meeting via the Team meeting link emailed to you by the advisor.
Note: Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late are marked as “no-show” and will be required to book a new appointment.
Drop-in
- Please note our office will be closed on Friday, December 5, 2025. There will be no drop-in session in the afternoon.
Drop-in sessions are 10-15 minutes long and are best for students looking to see an International Student Advisor for a quick question. Please refer to the schedule below.

IMPORTANT: Please note that we have a limited number of slots available for each drop-in session. If we reach full capacity before the scheduled end time, we may close the drop-ins early
How to Connect?
In-person Drop-ins: sign up at the front desk of the International Office 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Online Drop-ins: Click the ‘Join an Online Drop-in Session’ button below 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Enter your first name as the display name and student ID #, and then wait in the virtual room to be connected to an advisor.
